Freemuslim Association releases its message on International Day for Tolerance
Freemuslim Association—an international anti-violence organization—emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue and understanding among nations in its message marking the International Day for Tolerance.
The organization warned of escalating violence and conflicts that threaten humanity and called for urgent international efforts to promote peace and justice.
In a statement obtained by Shia Waves Agency, Freemuslim highlighted the turbulent global climate, marked by hostility and armed conflicts driven by selfishness and the monopolization of resources. These issues, the organization stated, have resulted in severe violations of human rights and freedoms.
The organization’s message pointed to ongoing global conflicts that claim hundreds of innocent lives daily, exacerbated by oppressive regimes pursuing political gains at the expense of human rights.
In its message, the non-violence group invoked a saying of Imam Ali, peace be upon him: “People are of two types: either your brother in religion or your equal in creation”, urging international leaders and policymakers to prioritize tolerance and dialogue over division and hostility.
The statement called for a collective effort by world leaders to promote peace and security across nations, transcending racial, religious, and sectarian differences, warning that the current trajectory of global events threatens a widespread humanitarian catastrophe, sparing no one if immediate action is not taken.
The organization reiterated its plea for prioritizing tolerance as a fundamental value to safeguard humanity and ensure a future of peace and fairness, urging global leaders to resolve conflicts justly, protect innocent lives, and uphold their inherent rights.
