The World Shirazi Foundation has commended the efforts of the countries participating in the Paris meeting, which includes representatives from 70 nations, to halt the ongoing war on Gaza and Lebanon.
In a statement received by the Shia Waves Agency, the foundation called for strengthening these efforts to ensure the return of civilians to their homes and to restore stability to the affected areas.
The World Shirazi Foundation highlighted the importance of effective legal actions to pressure the Israeli government to cease military operations that have indiscriminately targeted civilians, resulting in the destruction of civilian homes, attacks on relief teams, and the use of internationally banned weapons such as white phosphorus.
It also emphasized the documentation of numerous massacres against unarmed civilians, considering these violations as a call for urgent international action.
The statement affirmed that the international community has a legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibility to stop conflicts and protect civilians, stressing the need to activate deterrent laws and adhere to international agreements to curb ongoing crimes and violations in the region.
