The Iraqi Ministry of Interior on Wednesday announced the arrest of four members of the terrorist group ISIS in Nineveh province.
The ministry’s spokesman said that the Nineveh Police, through the Nineveh SWAT regiment and based on confirmed intelligence, arrested four members of ISIS, who were wanted under arrest warrants issued according to Article 4 of the Counterterrorism Law.
The arrests took place in the districts and neighborhoods of Al-Intisar, Al-Samah, Kokjali, and Tis’in on the left side of Mosul city. The statement also noted that the terrorists served as fighters within the so-called “Diwan al-Jund” during ISIS’s control over Mosul.
