IHC, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation drill more wells to provide Afghan families with drinking water
The UK-based Imam Hussein Charity (IHC) has announced that its teams continue to drill clean drinking water wells in various cities and villages across Afghanistan, in response to the increasing need for clean water among hundreds of impoverished families.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the charity said: “We continue our humanitarian efforts to improve living conditions for citizens in Afghanistan, especially in light of the difficult economic situation the country is experiencing.”
It emphasized that these projects are part of its commitment to supporting poor families and alleviating their suffering, while also stressing that the work is ongoing to cover the needs of more areas severely lacking access to clean drinking water.
It should be mentioned that these humanitarian projects are being implemented in collaboration with the Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development and in direct coordination with the office of the Grand Religious Authority, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Al-Shirazi, in Afghanistan.
