The engineering and technical teams at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Holy Najaf, have started developing “Ya’sub al-Din Educational and Recreational Area” as part of a massive scientific, cultural, and intellectual project.

This project aims to provide a distinctive educational and recreational environment for children and is being carried out by the Al-Muhsen Center for Children’s Culture, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali.

Alaa Jameel from the Al-Muhsen Center for Children’s Culture explained that the first phase of the project included developing the infrastructure and services of the location, as well as establishing a platform for young visitors to host cultural, intellectual, and entertainment events, including theatrical performances and competitions.

Jameel pointed out that the project’s area exceeds 42,000 square meters and will be implemented in several stages with the participation of supporting departments at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, adding that “two areas for children’s games have been developed in the second phase of the project”.
