Shirazi-affiliated charities distribute thousands of food baskets during Blessed Ramadan

Dozens of charitable centers and organizations affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Iraq and other world countries contributed to distributing Ramadan food baskets to poor families, the needy, and orphaned families.

The centers conducted these initiatives to offer necessary support to deprived families and provide relief during the holy month, with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development alone distributing 100,000 meals.

The office explained that “the food baskets included many essential items necessary for fasting individuals from the needy, poor, and orphaned families, in order to support and provide relief to them during the holy month.”

It emphasized that “these initiatives are based on the directives of Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi who repeatedly calls for supporting poor people around the world.”

Additionally, the office mentioned that “Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation alone distributed 100,000 meals this year to poor and needy families across Iraq.”
