Kadhimiyah Holy Shrine begins infrastructure project to provide new pathways for services
The Engineering Department at Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine has begun the infrastructure project, which will provide new pathways for services and systems in a modern and contemporary way, serving this blessed place.
The first stage of the project started after architectural and structural designs were approved, followed by the removal of the existing covering and obstacles hindering the project, in cooperation with the service departments in the Holy City of Kadhimiyah.
The following stage of the project was digging 4-meter deep and 4-meter wide tunnel pathways, connecting these pathways to Imam Sadiq courtyard, leading to the services complex (MEP Zone).
These tunnels will include systems for electrical power supply, lighting, central cooling, drinking water (RO), rainwater, communications, cameras, audio systems, fiber optic cable, and all necessary services.
It is worth mentioning that the project is being carried out by the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine, depending on the capabilities and expertise of the their technicians and engineers.
