Honourable house of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi commemorates Laylat al-Qadr, martyrdom of Imam Ali
The honourable house of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has begun holding ceremonies to commemorate the blessed Qadr Nights and the painful martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
According to the official website of his Eminence, the Shirazi hounarable residence began holding ceremonies and mourning sessions to commemorate the blessed nights of Qadr and the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.
These ritualistic and mourning ceremonies will continue for five nights, with the presence of large crowds of followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, from inside and outside Iran, the website added.
It mentioned that “His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Shirazi reiterated his calls to the Shia followers in particular and Muslims in general to honor the blessed nights of Qadr and remember the tragic event of the martyrdom of the successor of the Holy Prophet, and his caliph, Imam Ali, peace be upon them.”
