Iraq: Ahlulbayt Foundation in Basra launchs campaign to promote awareness among school students

The Ahlulbayt Cultural and Charitable Foundation in Basra, Iraq, has launched a program called “School Competitions” in order to promote awareness among school students.
The foundation, in collaboration with the Darat al-Durar Organization, initiated a special program for organizing cultural competitions within schools, aimed at increasing the knowledge of students and enriching their intellectual capabilities.

The director of the foundation, Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, stated in an interview with Shia Waves Agency: “The initiative launched initially included five schools, with the participation and presence of educational staff and public figures from Basra.”

He further mentioned that “the program is based on the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and the importance of educating and raising students to be able to build the future.”
