The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) welcomed the foreign ministers’ meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in India, expressing its “hopes that the conference will contribute to limiting the ongoing acts of violence in more than one place in the world.”
The organization said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency) that, “As the summit is being held in light of a state of global instability since the end of the Cold War, and dangerous conflicts across the world, the issue requires urgent acrions and an effective contribution to stop the costly disturbances, especially with regard to the Russian-Ukraine war and its consequences.”
The ‘Free Muslim’ urged the participants to “come out with measures that contribute to reducing political tensions between China and India on the one hand, and Pakistan and India on the other hand,” calling for “elaborate discussions to improve the human rights conditions of all the peoples of the organization’s members.”
It also called on the participants to “go by wisdom, acumen, and rationality when making decisions in a way that serves the international community in general,” stressing the need to “give priority to global peace and stability, away from political tensions and current conflicts, in order to ensure the continuity of human life.”
