Indian authorities demolish 40 houses of Muslims in Delhi, ill-treat several women
The Indian authorities, with the support of the ruling Hindu party, demolished 40 houses of Muslim families in the village of Khadak Rewara in the political capital, Delhi, which sparked the anger of the people because of these arbitrary measures.
Local media outlets, followed by Shia Waves News Agency: “The authorities of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party demolished 40 houses for Muslims in the village of Khadak Rewara (Chatarpur assembly) in Delhi.”
Video footage showed the destruction of Muslim houses in the village, while several women confirmed that they had been “ill-treated by the Indian police.”
The affected human rights organizations and the governments of Islamic countries called for urgent intervention to stop these repeated attacks against Muslims in India.
