The banners of Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas Holy Shrines flutter in the sky of the third largest city in India

The conclusion of the 30th International Hussain Day Convention in the Indian city of Bangalore, which was held under the slogan ‘Stand for Social Equality’, witnessed raising the banners of Imam Hussein and Al-Abbas, peace be upon them, by representatives of the Holy Shrines in a number of Islamic centers in the city.

Dr. Saad al-Din al-Banna, head of the delegation of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, said that the banners of Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) were raised in ceremonies attended by representatives of many Indian religions and sects.

“The banner of the inner dome of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) was raised and gifted to an Islamic center in Bangalore, an Islamic center in Aligarh, and an Islamic center in Aniali,” added al-Banna.

 On the sidelines of the convention, a blood donation campaign in honor of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) was organized by ‘Who is Hussain’ Organization, in which 50,000 people participated.
