Indian writer: Islamophobia is one of the principles of the ruling party and Hindus demand the demolition of thousands of mosques

Zafarul-Islam Khan, editor-in-chief of India’s The Milli Gazette newspaper, said that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in India has strong hatred for Islam and Muslims.

Khan added, in a television interview, that the party’s statement and comment were made by two spokespersons in its name, following their offensive statements to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, aimed at containing the crisis resulting from those statements.

He stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claims that Muslims were tyrants when they ruled India, and that they were raping Hindu women, demolishing their temples and building mosques on top of them.

He pointed out that there are reports of a list that includes 3,000 mosques claimed by Hindus, and they claim that they were built over Hindu temples that were demolished by Muslims.

Khan said that a senior party official recently stated that Islamic rule in India was like the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.

He explained that the world does not know anything about such statements and positions because they are in Hindi and not in English.

He mentioned that hatred of Islam is among the party’s main principles, in addition to turning mosques into temples and converting Muslims into Hindus, noting that this is well known about the party and declared in its literature.

Zafarul-Islam Khan said that the Indian Muslim has become a stranger in his own country, explaining that the authorities demolish the homes of Muslims if they participate in any demonstrations.
