The Global Hussaini Mission sends memorandum demanding the reconstruction of al-Baqi graves to the Indian government

The Global Hussaini Mission in India has written and submitted a memorandum demanding the reconstruction of al-Baqi graves to the Indian government.

Dr. Aale Taha Shaukat, Professor of University of Delhi and member of the Mission, said, “The memorandum demanding the reconstruction of al-Baqi graves was also given to the Saudi embassy in the country.”

The Mission said that their hope is to make the dream of reconstructing the al-Baqi Cemetery a reality, which all Shia lovers have been waiting for more than 100 years.

This comes as protests are being organized in various cities around India to demand the reconstruction of the shrines of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them. However, some protests are prevented.
