Islamic Society of North America Convention to Begin Friday
——————————
The 62nd Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention is set to begin this Friday in Rosemont, Illinois, and is expected to attract approximately 20,000 attendees, IQNA reported. The event, which will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, will run from August 29 to September 1.
According to Chris Stephens, the executive director of the convention center, the event will feature a wide range of activities, including discussions, exhibits, and educational opportunities about the Muslim faith. The convention is set to utilize a significant portion of the center, with about 600,000 square feet of space allocated for the event.
The ISNA, which was founded in 1963 by Muslim students at the University of Illinois, works to promote positive change in society, the country, and the world, according to its website. The annual convention serves as a major gathering for members and the broader community to connect and engage on various topics related to their faith and social issues.
