Three Muslim Youths Attacked in Uttar Pradesh, Families Demand Justice

Three Muslim youths were reportedly brutally attacked in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly over their religious identity. Their families have since filed a police complaint and are demanding swift justice. The incident has caused anger and fear among local residents.
According to a report by the Muslim Mirror Network, the attack occurred on Tuesday near Paratapur in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district. The victims, identified as Wasim, Rizwan, and Aamir, were returning from work when they were stopped by a mob. After the mob learned of their religious identity, they were allegedly attacked with iron rods and sticks.
Following the assault, the victims’ families filed a complaint at the Pilkhuwa police station, naming four accused men: Deepak, Nikhil, JJ Kabr, and Pankaj. Of the three victims, Rizwan and Aamir sustained serious injuries, while Wasim’s condition is considered critical, and he has been moved to an emergency ward.
The district’s Superintendent of Police, Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, stated that the police are treating the case as “a serious one” and affirmed that the culprits will not be spared. The attack has created a sense of fear in the local community, with villagers calling for immediate police action.
