Farewell Friday Prayers Held at Hawza Ilmiyya Abu Talib (peace be upon him) Mosque in Lucknow

The Farewell Friday Prayers (Jumu’at al-Wida’) were held at the Hawza Ilmiyya Abu Talib (peace be upon him) Mosque, which is spread over two bighas (a unit of land measurement) in Lucknow.

The prayers were led by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Maulana Shaikh Kazim Wahidi, a professor at the Hawza Ilmiyya Abu Talib (peace be upon him). The ‘ulama, students, and believers performed the Farewell Friday Prayers under his leadership.

It is noteworthy that the Hawza Ilmiyya and the Abu Talib (peace be upon him) Mosque are among the centers affiliated with the office of the eminent Marja’, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hossaini Shirazi (may Allah prolong his life). For the past 9 years, the Friday Prayers have been established under the supervision of Maulana Sayyid Saif Abbas Naqvi, the representative of the Shi’a Marja’iyyah, which is attended by a large number of ‘ulama, students of the Seminary, and believers from the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
