Rahul Gandhi Accuses Modi Government of Inaction Amid Violence Against Muslims

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticized the Modi government as a “mute spectator” in light of recent mob violence against Muslims in BJP-ruled states, Muslim Mirror reported yesterday.

His remarks follow two alarming incidents: a Muslim migrant from West Bengal was beaten to death by cow vigilantes in Haryana, and an elderly man was assaulted on a train in Maharashtra under suspicion of carrying beef.

Gandhi condemned these acts, stating that those in power are fostering a climate of fear and violence. He urged for strict action against the “anarchist elements” responsible for such attacks, asserting that any assault on communal unity is an attack on the Constitution. Gandhi emphasized the need to uphold the rule of law and vowed to unite against hatred, declaring, “We will win this historic battle at any cost.”
