India: Rahul Gandhi Cites Quran to Praise Opposition’s Courage

In a speech before the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi invoked verses from the Quran to commend the opposition’s bravery, The Siasat Daily reported yesterday.

Referencing Surah Taha, verse 46, Gandhi said the Quran teaches “have no fear”, and Allah will support you.

It should be mentioned that India is home to almost 11% of the world’s Muslim population. However, the community suffers from serious political representation in the world’s seemingly largest democracy.
