Road accidents in India claim 15 lives, injure over 40

At least seven people lost their lives and about 20 others were injured when their bus collided with a truck in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, Xinhua reported yesterday.

The mishap took place in the Unnao area of Uttar Pradesh, the news agency added, saying the injured were admitted to a local hospital, with some reportedly in critical condition.

In another incident, 8 people were Killed and 23 were injured as a goods vehicle collided with a truck in Chhattisgarh.
