India: Muslim university sees first woman VC in over 100 years

Naima Khatoon has made history by becoming the first woman Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in over 100 years, Muslim Mirror reported yesterday.

According to the source, her appointment marks a significant milestone towards gender inclusivity in higher education leadership in India.

Khatoon, an experienced academician and administrator, previously served as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of AMU, enhancing the academic and research capabilities of the institution.
