Secretary General of IHMG Hosts Esteemed Son of Late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Shirazi
On the third day of Ramadan, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslemin Sayyid Mahdi Shirazi visited Imam Hussein Media Group, where he met and discussed with Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslemin Sheikh Mostafa Mohammadi, the Secretary General of Imam Hussein Media Group (IHMG).
During this meeting, both parties emphasized the significant role of media in the global arena and the importance of authoring and publishing religious books to introduce the teachings of Shia Islam and familiarize followers of other religions with the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The Secretary General of IHMG highlighted the late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Shirazi’s emphasis on the necessity of launching Shia satellite networks in 40 living languages worldwide back in 1997. He also referenced the guidance of Shia Authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi regarding the establishment of a media group under the blessed name of “Imam Hussein,” peace be upon him. As a result, in 2009, Imam Hussein TV was founded with the aim of promoting the culture of the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt and introducing the movement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
At the conclusion of the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslemin Sayyid Mahdi Shirazi expressed gratitude for the efforts of Imam Hussein Media Group in defending religious values.
It is noteworthy that this meeting provided an opportunity for exchanging ideas and enhancing collaboration in cultural and media fields, showcasing the constructive interaction between religious institutions and independent Shia media.
