Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has stated that the Sunnah of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) represents the natural continuation of his divine message and contains the most complete laws and rulings for guiding human life.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said that the teachings and rulings established by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) are inseparable from his noble character, explaining that their perfection reflects the perfection of the Prophet’s mission and values.

He emphasised that there is complete harmony between the Prophet’s character, his message and the legislation he conveyed, making the Sunnah a comprehensive source capable of guiding humanity and organising individual and social life.

The religious authority highlighted that following the Prophet’s Sunnah and adhering to his teachings are essential for preserving Islamic identity and achieving intellectual and social stability. He called on Muslims to deepen their understanding of the Prophet’s biography and draw lessons from it in addressing contemporary challenges.

His Eminence’s remarks come as part of his continued emphasis on returning to the Holy Quran and the noble Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) as fundamental sources of Islamic guidance and a framework for building societies based on justice, morality and human values.
