The senior religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has resumed his daily scholarly sessions at his honorable residence in the holy city of Qom, with the attendance of dozens of scholars, religious figures, seminary students, and believers.

These sessions serve as an important scholarly forum where various religious and doctrinal issues are discussed. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi answers attendees’ questions in detail and presents his scholarly and intellectual views based on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the pure Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

He resumed the sessions after holding mourning gatherings during the first days of the holy month of Muharram. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi is keen to continue these daily meetings due to their important role in supporting the seminary, strengthening authentic Islamic concepts, and guiding students of religious knowledge in different fields of study and research.

He also gives great importance to these scholarly gatherings alongside his religious duties, including caring for the affairs of Islamic seminaries, spreading the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and following the affairs of his followers and Shia Muslims around the world, with the aim of preserving and promoting religion amid growing intellectual and cultural challenges.
