Grand Ayatollah Shirazi remarks on revelation of tranquillity in verse 26 of Surah At-Tawbah

The daily scholarly session of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi was held on Wednesday, the 16th of Rajab 1447 AH.

As in previous sessions, His Eminence responded to questions from attendees on various jurisprudential issues.

Referring to verse 26 of Surah At-Tawbah, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stated that this noble verse emphasizes that on the journey from Mecca to Medina, tranquility and serenity from Almighty God were bestowed exclusively upon the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family).

He further explained that tranquility and serenity were always bestowed by Almighty God upon the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family); however, what is meant in this noble verse is an added measure—an increased degree of tranquility and serenity.
