Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s Office Declares Friday as First of Jumada al-Ula

The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Hussaini al-Shirazi has announced that Friday, October 24th, 2025, will be the first day of the holy month of Jumada al-Ula, 1447 A.H.

In a statement issued by his office, it was announced that the new moon of Jumada al-Ula was not confirmed for the Grand Ayatollah’s office on Wednesday evening.

Therefore, Thursday was considered the final day of the month of Rabi’ al-Thani. Consequently, Friday marks the beginning of the month of Jumada al-Ula, 1447 A.H.
