Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, Affiliated Centres Commemorate Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jafar, Peace Be Upon Him

The honourable residence of the Supreme Marja, Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom hosted a mourning ceremony on Sunday, Rajab 25, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jafar (peace be upon him).

The morning session featured the presence of his Eminence, along with numerous religious scholars, seminary students, and devoted followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Key speakers, including Hujjat al-Islam Qazizadeh, Vaez-zadeh, and Khani, addressed the significance of Imam Musa ibn Jafar and the historical events of his time.

Attendees engaged in prayers for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) at the conclusion of the gathering.

In Baghdad, centres affiliated with the Supreme Marja also marked this solemn occasion by traveling to the holy city of Kadhimayn, providing services to pilgrims. The Sadiqah Fatimah Center, peace be upon her, set up a tent to address religious inquiries and assist visitors.

Additionally, the charitable-cultural organization Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in Karbala distributed clothing, kitchen supplies, and meat to dozens of needy families, ensuring that many orphans and underprivileged individuals benefited from these efforts.

In Kadhimayn, a delegation from the charitable-cultural organization al-Rasul al-Azam participated in a military seminar focused on combating ideological warfare and facilitating pilgrim logistics during this significant period. The organization’s Mawkib (service station) also provided food, accommodation, and prayer services for the influx of visitors, reinforcing the community’s commitment to honoring the martyrdom of Imam Musa ibn Jafar, peace be upon him.
