Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Any Activity Related to Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) Will Be Great and Blessed
The daily scholarly meeting of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Hosseini al-Shirazi was held on Saturday, 27 Jumada al-Awwal 1446. In this session, as in previous meetings, the Supreme Marja answered questions from the attendees regarding various jurisprudential issues.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasized the importance of seeking intercession from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in all endeavors, stating, “Any activity or work related to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) will be great and blessed.”
He referenced a passage from the Hadith of Kisa, where Almighty God states: “I did not create the heavens that are built, the earth that is spread out, the shining moon, the radiant sun, the rotating sky, the flowing sea, and the moving ship except for the love of the five holy ones of the Cloak (Ahl al-Kisa) (peace be upon them).”
He stressed that these five pure individuals are the Messenger of God, Amir al-Mu’minin, Fatimah, Imam Hasan, and Imam Husayn (peace be upon them), who were gathered under the cloak. The nine Imams following them, up to Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), are also part of this group and the reasons for creation.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi further urged attendees to connect young people, especially family members, relatives, neighbors, and acquaintances, with the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) as much as possible, emphasizing that there should be no negligence or lack of effort in this regard.
