Shirazi-affiliated organizations distribute 1,000 food baskets to support displaced families in Lebanon
In line with the directives of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, the UK-based Imam Hussein Charity (IHC) has distributed 1,000 food baskets to support displaced families in Lebanon, in an effort to alleviate the hardships faced by these families due to challenging conditions.
The food baskets contained essential items like rice, oil, sugar, tea, legumes, and canned goods, which were distributed in various regions, including Nabatieh, Tyre, Al-Zahrani, and Saida, as well as in numerous shelters.
This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, Imam Hussein Media Group and Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s office in Lebanon.
Officials of these groups expressed gratitude to the donors and benefactors supporting these families, reiterating their commitment to continue their mission to meet basic needs of affected families and provide food security amid the current difficulties.
