Office of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi Expresses Gratitude for Global Condolences on Passing of his Eldest Son

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: “When a learned believer passes away, a hole is created in Islam that nothing can fill.”

With this statement, we express our sincere gratitude to all believers who, from all corners of the world, extended their condolences on the passing of the esteemed scholar, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Haj Sayed Ali al-Hosseini al-Shirazi, may God have mercy upon him. Your messages of condolence, phone calls, and participation in the funeral and memorial services have brought great comfort to the bereaved family.

Your presence at the residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the holy city of Qom and at the representative offices worldwide has been a source of great solace.
