Large-scale demonstrations took place in 102 cities across France, including the capital Paris, as protesters rallied against what they described as rising racism and police violence. The protests were organized in response to calls from several civil society groups and human rights organizations.

In Paris, demonstrators gathered at Place de la Nation before marching toward Place de la République. Similar rallies were held in cities such as Lille, Marseille, and Lyon, drawing activists and human rights advocates.

Participants carried signs with slogans including “Racism is not an opinion but a crime” and “No to police violence,” while chanting for social justice and respect for human rights.

Some demonstrators also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause, raising flags and calling for an end to military operations in Gaza Strip. Others voiced opposition to international policies in the Middle East, urging an end to conflicts and greater emphasis on peaceful solutions.

The protests come amid ongoing debates in France over discrimination, racism, and relations between law enforcement and communities, with rights groups calling for broader reforms to promote equality and protect civil liberties.
