Members of the Hussaini Association in Canada: The Prophet and his family (peace be upon them) are our example of peace and harmony

The Hussaini Association in Calgary (HAC) raised a humanitarian slogan stemming from the principles and culture of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), calling for harmony and peace and the rejection of violence in all its forms.

The association said in a statement published on its website: “Our members are proud of their Shia identity as lovers and loyal followers of the Noble Prophet and his pure family (peace be upon them), for they are the great and eternal role models for spreading social and human justice and respect for human rights.”

It added, “Our religion and our religious leaders emphasize spreading peace among human beings and achieving justice and equality, so we raised the slogan (We love peace and harmony).”

“The Hussaini Association in Calgary seeks to promote peace, coexistence and harmony between our society and the broader multicultural Canadian community through interfaith dialogues and other social activities,” the statement noted.

“We strongly condemn all kinds of terrorism, extremism and violence committed anywhere in the world,” it added.
