Shias of Bangladesh organize Husseini procession to commemorate Imam Hussein’s Arba’een

Mirpur, one of Bangladesh’s largest cities, has hosted a massive procession to commemorate the Arba’een Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Shia Waves Agency viewed images documenting this massive procession which started in Mirpur and ended at imambargah where a large mourning ceremony was organized to commemorate Imam Hussein’s Arba’een.

Local sources confirmed to Shia Waves Agency that “The Husseini mourners and loyalists carried banners of sadness and shed tears for the martyrdom of the Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”

It should be mentioned that scholars and officials attended this well-organized procession amid tight security measures.
