Imam Ali Holy Shrine covered in black to mark martyrdom anniversary of Holy Prophet

The sacred shrine of Amir al-Momineen Ali (peace be upon him) in Holy Najaf was covered with black flags and banners in commemoration of the sorrowful martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), reported Shia Waves Agency.


Also, after the Hosseini Arbaeen pilgrimage in the holy city of Karbala, al-Abbas and Imam Hussein holy shrines are preparing to commemorate the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his pure family, on the twenty-eighth of the month of Safar.


Muslims in different countries of the world prepare themselves to mark this occasion with special programs in Hussainiyas and Islamic centers worldwide, as well as the blessed shrines in Iraq, Iran, and Syria.
