Over one million pilgrims entered Iraq until now to commemorate Arbaeen

The Iraqi Border Crossings Authority revealed today Monday the number of foreign pilgrims who have arrived in Iraq to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The director of the Authority, Major General Omar Al-Waeli, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency that “More than one million pilgrims have entered Iraq since 17th August until now through border crossings and airports.”

Al-Waeli noted that “100,000 pilgrims entered through Almunthrya border crossing to participate in the Arba’een Pilgrimage.”
