“Middle East Monitor” releases captivating photos of Arabeen pilgrims

The British “Middle East Monitor” newspaper has released captivating photos of the crowds of pilgrims heading towards the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The newspaper’s report titled “Shia Muslims In Iraq commemorate martyrdom of Imam Hussein” said that “These crowds set off from Ras Al-Bisha in Basra towards Holy Karbala – a distance of around 745 kilometers – to commemorate the Arba’een.”

The photo report captured the determination and insistence of the Arabeen pilgrims despite rising temperatures and roads roughness.
