Iraq’s PM presides over meeting to discuss Arba’een preparations
Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani has instructed the Standing Committee for Massive Pilgrimages to intensify efforts to ensure all safety and service plans are well organized ahead of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The PM’s media office said in a statement, viewd by Shia Waves Agency, that “the PM presided over a meeting, attended by the head and members of the Standing Committee for Massive Pilgrimages, to discuss the preparations for the coming Arba’een Pilgrimage.”
The statement added that the Prime Minister has confirmed, “The government gives priority to the massive pilgrimages in Iraq around the year, which require high strategic planning and effort.”
It should be mentioned that the holy city of Karbala will host millions of pilgrims from all over the world on the Arba’een Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
