Followers of Ahlul-Bayt hold mourning session for Imam Hussein in basketball court in Indonesia

Thousands of Indonesian people held a mourning ceremony for Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) inside a basketball court in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Due to fears of bans or attacks by extremists in Indonesia, mourners chose to hold their ceremony in a basketball court in Jakarta instead of the streets of this country.

It should be mentioned that by reciting sad poems, mourners beat their heads and chests and expressed their sympathy to uphold the ideals of Imam Hossein (peace be upon him).

It is worth mentioning that thousands of lovers of Ahlal-Bayt (peace be upon them) who live on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, commemorate Hosseini Ashura, which is known as Aza, by making a “Tabweik”, a huge replica of the coffin of the Master of the Martyrs (peace be upon him).
