Followers of Ahlul Bayt in Canada hold Great Eid al-Ghadir Festival

Shiites and followers of the Pure and Infallible Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, as well as charitable activists in Toronto participated in a huge family ceremony of “Eid al-Ghadir”.

The ceremony featured the virtuous tradition of serving food to the Shiites and devotees of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, during the days of Eid al-Ghadir.

The event also included entertainment programs and various competitions with valuable prizes.

This festive gathering was held on Saturday, July 8th, and was attended by more than five thousand people from Canada, Iraq, India, Iran, Lebanon, Kuwaiti and some other countries.

It should be mentioned that the devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Canada have been holding magnificent ceremonies for many years on various joyful occasions, especially Eid al-Ghadir, and days of mourning, especially Muharram.

Currently, there are more than 25 Hussainiyas and several cultural-philanthropic centers in the province of Ontario and the city of Toronto, which offer a wide range of activities to the community throughout the year.
