Over 800 Husseini Mawakib from over Iraq to offer services to pilgrims on Mid-Sha’aban Pilgrimage
Around 834 Husseini Mawakib (Service Processions) from various Iraqi provinces are preparing to participate in the service campaign which aims to provide services to pilgrims, from inside and outside of Iraq, who are coming to revive Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage.
In a statement followed by Shia News Agency, Assistant Head of Hussein Rituals and Processions Department, Hashem al-Mousawi, said: “The Department has registered 834 Mawkib so far, who are coming to provide pilgrims with services.”
He added, “The processions will spread from the north of holy Karbala to the south, on (Holy Karbala – Baghdad Route), (Holy Karbala – Najaf Route), and (Holy Karbala – Babylon Route), where the service will be provided throughout the days of the Sha’ban Pilgrimage.”
Al-Mousawi indicated that, “The Department operates in coordination with all government departments to provide full security and service plans to the pilgrims coming on this blessed day.”
