Iraq: Minister of Interior holds security conference ahead of Mid-Sha’aban Pilgrimage

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, headed a high-level security delegation to visit Holy Karbala to supervise preparations for the coming Mid-Sha’aban Pilgrimage.

Al-Shammari and Karbala’s Governor held a meeting to discuss plans and readiness to secure the pilgrimage and offer the best of services to the honourable pilgrims.

The Mid-Sha’aban Pilgrimage marks the blessed birth of Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance.
