700 service processions from Iraq’s Wasit participate in commemoration of Imam al-Kadhim’s martyrdom

Nearly 700 processions from the Iraqi province of Wasit have participated in providing services to the pilgrims of Imam Musa bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) during their march on foot towards his holy shrine.

The representative of the Husseini processions in Wasit, said that the service processions in the province began to provide their services more than eight days before, and some of them will continue until the performance of the pilgrimage.

He added that all the service processions have coordination with official and security departments to facilitate their movement and to pass through security checkpoints.
