Shia followers of AhlulBayet from holy Karbala offer felicitations to Sayyeda Zaineb on birth of Imam Ali

Shia followers of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them, from Holy Karbala offered congratulations to Sayyeda Zainab (peace be upon her) at her shrine in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on the birth anniversary of her father, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), expressing their happiness on this joyful occasion.

Well-wishers carried wreaths and chanted beautiful peoms in honor of Imam Ali, peace be upon him. Director of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, Sayyid Aref Nasrallah said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “A large number of people from holy Karbala had the honor to visit the shrine of Sayyeda Zaineb, peace upon her, to offer their congratulations on this blessed and joyful occasion.”

Nasrallah explained that “these occasions are held every year, as the people of holy Karbala and the office of the honorable Authority in the province are keen to revive them.”, noting that “the well-wishers came and were then honored to visit the shrine of Sayyeda Ruqayyah peace be upon her.”
