Shia followers of AhlulBayet celebrate worldwide birth anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad

Holy shrines in Iraq, Syria and Iran in addition to mosques, Husseiniyahs and Islamic centers around the world celebrate the hounorable birth anniversary of the ninth Infallible Imam, Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon them.

The Imam’s honorable birth is on the tenth of the month of Rajab of the year 195 AH. On this day, followers of AhlulBayet (peace be upon them) hold joyful celebrations and ceremonies to offer their congratulations to the master of the time – Imam al-Mahadi – may Allah hasten his reappearance – and to the Islamic world.

The tenth of the month of Rajab also marks the honorable birth anniversary of Sayyiduna Ali al-Asghar, peace be upon them, of the year 60 AH.
