A mourning gathering was held at the Islamic Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), with the participation of devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The event formed part of the Fatimiyya commemorations, during which followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) remember the life and distinguished status of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the daughter of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), and reflect on the suffering she endured following her father’s passing.

Participants gathered to express their love and devotion to Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and preserve the religious traditions associated with her martyrdom anniversary.

The gathering was among the religious activities organized by Shia communities in the United States during the Fatimiyya days, aiming to share her teachings, uphold the values she embodied and strengthen younger generations’ connection with the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
