Global Celebrations Mark Birth Anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)

Shia centers affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi across the globe recently hosted magnificent celebrations to mark the auspicious birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab al-Kubra (peace be upon her).
A glorious ceremony was held at the Imam Husayn bin Ali Sayyid al-Shuhada Husayniyah in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on the fourth of the month of Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH. The event drew large crowds of believers and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (Prophet’s household), who joyfully commemorated the high status and enduring legacy of the Lady of patience and courage.
Similar magnificent celebrations took place at the Sultan al-Mu’allifīn Husayniyah in Mahajanga, Madagascar. Speakers focused on detailing the virtues, merits, and luminous biography of the noble Lady Zaynab. The program concluded with the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi honoring two female students who had recently graduated from university, recognizing their academic achievement alongside the religious commemoration.
