Over 4.7 million pilgrims commemorate Imam al-Jawad’s martyrdom in Holy Kadhimiya

Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine announced that more than 4.73 million pilgrims gathered to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) in Baghdad. The event was marked by intense spiritual devotion and supported by comprehensive security and service plans.

According to a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the shrine’s administration mobilized all departments, volunteers, and religious and government institutions, including healthcare and security forces, to ensure smooth and safe proceedings.

The shrine praised the high level of coordination among government bodies, security forces, service ministries, and civil society organizations, noting their key role in managing the massive turnout efficiently.
