Holy shrines in Iraq host celebrations in honor of Imam al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba’s birth

The holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Holy Najaf has been beautifully decorated with 25,000 high-quality fresh flowers in celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, marked today, 15th of holy Ramadan.
The floral arrangement, which includes displays on the shrine’s sacred zarih, the Sayyida Ruqayya hall, and the golden Iwan courtyard, creates a festive atmosphere in honor of this significant occasion.
The floral decorations extend beyond Najaf, with shrines in Holy Karbala, Holy Kadhimiyah, Holy Samarra, as well as the shrine of Muslim ibn Aqil also receiving similar tributes
Religious centers and husayniyyas across various cities are hosting events to mark the occasion. These include Quranic recitations, sermons, and religious performances, all aimed at commemorating the birth of Imam al-Hasan and promoting his noble life and teachings among younger generations.
