Grand Ayatollah Shirazi affirms link between knowing God, Holy Prophet and Infallible r

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, emphasized that knowing Almighty God is incomplete without knowing the Prophet and Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, stressing the importance of recognizing the Infallible Imam to achieve a full understanding of divine knowledge.

The Grand Marja’s statement was published on his official office’s website ahead of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance, on the 15th of Sha’ban.

His Eminence stated, “Just as knowing God without knowing His noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, remains incomplete and does not constitute true knowledge in its precise sense, knowing God and His Prophet is also incomplete without knowing the Infallible Imam. In our time, that Imam is Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance.”

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi highlighted that knowledge has different levels and called for a deeper understanding of God, the Prophet, and Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

It should be mentioned that the Supreme Religious Authority consistently underscores the importance of studying the lives of Ahlulbayt and encourages spreading their teachings worldwide. He believes their values and divine principles contribute to building societies and reinforcing noble ethics.
