Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Straying from path of Ahlulbayt ruins one’s life and hereafter
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, highlighted excerpts from the words of Sayyeda Fatimah Al-Zahra( peace be upon her) in a message published by his office on the anniversaries of her painful martyrdom.
The Grand Marja explained that Sayyeda Fatimah’s words, “How strange it is that they displaced it from the solid foundations of the message, the pillars of prophethood, the place of descent of the trusted revelation, and the one who is well-versed in worldly and religious affairs,” refer to the actions of those who deviated after the Prophet’s martyrdom. This, he noted, was a clear reference to their turning away from Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the path laid down by the Messenger of God.
The Supreme Religious Authority emphasized that those who altered the message and deviated from the Prophet’s and Ahlulbayt’s ’s teachings have destroyed both their worldly and spiritual lives. Sayyeda Fatimah, he said, underscored this when she described Imam Ali as “the solid foundation of the message and the pillars of prophethood,” highlighting his central role in preserving the religion and its principles.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi repeatedly reiterates the urgent necessity of returning to the path of the Prophet and his family, asserting that adherence to this divine path is the only way for humanity to overcome its crises and achieve happiness in both this world and the Hereafter. Through their teachings, he states, blessings, prosperity, justice, and peace can be realized globally.
